چکیده
Meat is part of duck carcass mostly consumed by humans compared to other parts. This study aimed toanalyze the heavy metal bioaccumulation factor (BAF) meat and its possible risks human health. Atotal 25 samples with their drinking water feed were taken from five intensive farms in CentralJava Province, i.e., Semarang (A), Temanggung (B), Magelang (C), Pati (D) Salatiga (E). Heavy metalsconcentration (As, Cd, Hg, Pb) measured following ICP-OES method. metals concentrationdata obtained then quality standard. The BAF value was calculated tohuman health assessed. Our found that provided for ducks all containedheavy concentrations exceeding standards. Hg concentration 0.089 -5.01 ppm exceeded Concentrations Cd (0.0713 - 0.075 ppm) (3.1 -4.84 average BAFduck values range of0.443 0.955. EDI adults children through consumptionof Central Java region lower than RfD. showed risk parameters(EDI, HQ, HI) within safe limits. Exposure consumption both inadults unlikely cause adverse effects.

متن کاملToxic Metal Pollution in Pakistan and Its Possible Risks to Public Health.
Environmental pollution has increased many folds in recent years and in some places has reached levels that are toxic to living things. Among pollutant types, toxic heavy metals and metalloids are among the chemicals that pose the highest threat to biological systems (Jjemba 2004). Unlike organic pollutants, which are biodegradable, heavy metals are not degraded into less hazardous end products...
